The Farm Holiday Poggio Moretto is situated in Manciano in tuscany, in the beautiful country of Maremma. Here on can find ancient peasant cultures and customs. In these places you can find complete quietness and relax, that nature can offer, enchanting people with her beauty. In the hills that surround Farm Holiday Poggio Moretto there are all type of plants, such as grain, fodder, vineyards, olive groves and stretches of the Mediterranean.
The Farmhouse Poggio Moretto is extend for 74 hectares and the farm produces wine, olive oil, wheat, oats and fodder plants, in an integrated agriculture system. A part of the land is pasture for the numerous sheep. Their milk is used to produce the Pecorino cheese D.O.P of "Caseificio Sociale di Manciano".
The farm holidays’ rooms have been obtained from the renovation of the old cowshed near to the main part of the house. Every room has private bathroom facilities, TV and fridge-bar. Every room is furnished in old Tuscany style with wooden beam ceiling done in terracotta tiles.
Moreover, the rooms have independent entrances from the garden.
Our guests can take advantage of the agreements for admission to the thermal pools and our directions to visit the surrounding landscape and participate in the old farm activity.
